L.G.R has created WATERBOMBER, a new exclusive model made in collaboration with Gruppo Volo Canadair. Emphasis has been placed on the quality of the lenses, by choosing the highest quality “Rare Earth” lenses produced by Barberini that optimize the perception of the contrast between colors. Some of the elements of the Lanthanides, called Rare Earth Elements, are added within the fusion process of the tempered mineral glass lenses to enhance the visual contrast, operating as a chromatic equalizer.
The aviator frame is meticulously handcrafted in lightweight Black Matt metal, with red and yellow details that recall the colors of the Canadair aircrafts. The bayonet temples, featuring acetate tips customized with the collaboration logo and the motto FIRST IN LAST OUT, will allow pilots to easily put on and remove sunglasses while wearing headphones during flight.
