L.G.R is proud to announce that two models of sunglasses designed by L.G.R were worn by Tom Cruise in various scenes of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, the fifth film in the series. The film, set in Morocco and shot in some of the country’s most beautiful cities, such as Marrakech, Agadir and Casablanca, provides a perfect setting to the two pairs of sunglasses: Tangeri and Comoros.
The specific L.G.R Tangeri model used in the scene, in which Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) meets Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), features a black double bridge frame for greater structural support and photochromic yellow gradient lenses.
During the spectacular and thrilling motorbike chase through the desert from Marrakesh to Agadir, Tom Cruise wears model Comoros. This model features 1mm thin Silver Stainless Steel with Black/Grey Lenses. Its wafer thin construction makes it ultra resistant whereas its cellulose acetate terminals give it a touch of warmth and comfort.
